Hannah Halfpenny is an English Singer Songwriter, performing contemporary folk on guitar and vocals. Her accomplished guitar playing, along with sincere voice, takes her audience through a set, ranging from melancholic to uplifting songs.
Now at nineteen, the London based musician has been playing since the age of eight. She grew up listening to artists such as Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchel and Eric Clapton playing around the house. Only a couple of years ago, she moved back to the UK after living on the island of Malta for fourteen years, to peruse her music career. Now Hannah has created a sound of her own, taking inspiration from Damien rice, Laura Marling and Ben Howard.
She has already been involved with Sofar Sounds, The Great Escape, Heavingham Hall Bonfire night, Smoked and Uncut festival, to name a few.
Hannah is currently recording, set for release in mid 2019.
